The Study Buddy Scheme

For many an online course is the most flexible and manageable method of studying to achieve your academic goals. Online study can open so many doors, however at times can feel quite isolating. Faced with a virtual classroom rather than a physical one; it is the interactions with peers that so many students miss. Therefore, Arden University has launched a new peer support scheme, Study Buddy.

The Arden Study Buddy scheme puts fellow students in touch with each other, matching you either by location or common interests. You are then encouraged to contact one another providing informal support throughout the duration of your studies. The Buddy Co-ordinator will always try to match you based on location but where this is not possible similar interests will be considered.

Please note that you will not be paired until the Induction Quiz has been completed and you are active and registered to submit your first module. You must be 18 years of age, or over.

This is the first time that we have launched the Study Buddy Scheme and we are of course keen to know what our students think, what works well and what we can improve. The Buddy Co-ordinator will contact you when you are further into the scheme to get this valuable feedback from you.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us further at, peersupport@arden.ac.uk
