Fees and funding options

We believe costs shouldn’t be a barrier to personal development which is why our degrees cost much less than the average UK qualification. If you are looking for a smart, value for money option then look no further - you can stay in control of your finance and focus on your learning.

How much is my course?

Your funding options

Pay in full

You can pay for your course in one go if you have the funds and there is typically a discount if you pay this way.

Non-UK/EU students

Non UK/EU students can make payments over the course of their studies using our fixed payment schedule. Non UK/EU students will be entered into a schedule which runs alongside their course and splits their programme fees into a series of instalments.

UK/EU students and pay-as-you-go

UK & EU students can pay for your studies as you go along. That means no monthly payment obligations; you simply make the next payment when you are ready to start the next stage of your course. So if you can’t pay upfront or perhaps aren’t eligible for a student loan, you can pay in bitesize chunks.

We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard and UK Maestro), bank transfers and cheques. Currently we are unable to accept Amex cards for payment. Students can also pay via PayPal if they are paying in GBP.

UK/EU student funding

- Undergraduate student loans for UK & EU students

Many UK & EU students choose to pay for study with a student loan. Student Finance England pays your fees which you pay back in small monthly instalments once you are earning over £25,000. You won’t be asked to pay anything back until April, four years after the start of your qualification. More information can be found at www.gov.uk/student-finance. Please note student funding is currently not available for Access to HE Diplomas.

- Postgraduate student loans for UK & EU students

As a postgraduate student, you can now apply for a student loan of up to £10,000, which will cover the tuition fees for taught and research Masters courses, including MBAs. Find out more at www.gov.uk/masters-loan.

- Second degree funding now available for UK residents

If you’ve previously completed an undergraduate degree, did you know that you may be eligible for a student loan for a second degree by online distance learning? You can read further details on second degree funding here.

- How to apply for a student loan

While you are applying for your Arden University course, your admissions advisor will discuss payment options with you. If you decide a student loan is the best option, you can apply online via Student Finance England. This will take about 15 minutes and you should have your passport and National Insurance number to hand. It can take as long as six weeks for the Student Loans Company to finalise applications, so make sure you do it in plenty of time to start your course.

Other ways to pay

- Employer sponsorship

A lot of our students are fully or part-sponsored by their employer. Feedback from existing sponsors suggests it’s a great return on investment and is smart choice for both employees and employers.

We have put together “The answer is right in front of you” - a useful employer sponsorship PDF guide which you can use to discuss funding directly with your employer.

- Future Finance

We are really pleased to let you know that we have partnered with Future Finance as an alternative source of funding for our students.

The benefits of Future Finance include:

Fees and funding FAQs

What do the fees include?

Our fees include: all the study materials you need and student handbooks, your tutor support, your student support coordinator, access to our virtual learning environment – ilearn, an online induction process and access to our Career Portal.

We host examinations for our distance learning students in Coventry which are included within the course fees. Overseas students who cannot come to Coventry must find a suitable local venue, which may charge a fee. We help to find and arrange a venue, and have a list of approved examination centres worldwide, for example colleges, universities and British Council Offices.
